By no means as funny as James Leigh's What Can You Do? of a couple of years ago, this is the raunch-styled account of Paxton Quigley, Williams College, class of '66, and the #1 scoring stud. Now brooding in his sleeping bag in the attic of a Bennington dormitory where he's been confined for days, he looks back on his triple play activities with Tobey (whom he really loved--spent a summer with in Provincetown); Eulice, very brunette, a transfer from Howard College; and Jan, all psyched up and sometimes ""overwhelmed by her id."" Before he's through--in fact almost finished--he has started to lose aspects of his cool and has even ""grown a soul."" There are moments, Pax buddy, but when you get right down to it, college humor, while hairier than that old raccoon coat, is still undergraduate. Paxton Quigley's had the course--C-.
