by Stephen W. Meader ‧ RELEASE DATE: Sept. 9, 1937
Good adventure against period background of stagecoach days in New Hampshire. Dan Drew, 15 years old, heading westward from the sea, comes to a halt in Deptfard, and takes a job as stable boy of the ""Fox and Stars."" The eastern countryside was terror-ridden from Captain Hairtrigger and his gang of highwaymen, and Dan plays his part in tracking them down. Meader spins a good yarn as always, and for the first time, so far as I remember, has tapped former periods for his setting.
