HORRIBLE HARRY IN ROOM 2B

For new easy-reader graduates, five brief stories--narrated by Doug--about life in second grade with his best friend, Harry. Harry is less horrible than incorrigibly mischievous: teasing classmate Song Lee with a snake, instigating the consumption of the librarian's cupcake while on the way to deliver it to her (she ""just likes yogurt and carrots. . .We'll be doing her a favor""), getting back at the kids who call him ""canary."" Still, like many mischievous kids, he has a real sense of humor and some useful ingenuity; his feelings can even be hurt. Tree to life, mildly entertaining, unexceptional. To be illustrated with line drawings.
