by Sven Delblanc ‧ RELEASE DATE: April 8, 1969
Others (unidentified testimonials-via publicity releases) have spoken for this young Swedish artist who ""writes with a frenzy, a fever unlike anyone else's."" Mr. Delblanc speaks very clearly for himself in purulent prose and on any page you can find the equivalent of ""a black billy goat...knee-deep in drifts of rotting blue grapes...while the yellow dung of his gluttony runs out of his craggly behind."" Throughout most of the book waste matter emanates or is emitted while a mad scientist attempts-to create life in the bathtub with his own fluids (urine, blood). His first creation is a grotesque one-eyed giant whom he must kill; his second a quite perfect young boy Bechos but both are pursued throughout by Russian and American operatives detonating four-letter words and megatons. . . . ""Death rose in his throat like heartburn"" and usque ad nauseam, a kind of surrealist throw-upmanship.
