The occupational probability as it was experienced by a Boston doctor is here reviewed in terms of his own personal history (from hospital to house call to oxygen tent in Peter Bent Brigham) and to help others who have had or may have a coronary. Thus there is some brief advice on the physiology and diagnosis of heart attacks, on the medication and recuperative measures to follow, on the general views held about smoking, obesity, heredity, stress, fats and cholesterol, etc. as well as general life expectations following a heart attack. This contributes nothing that has not been known to the popular literature in this area- a ssive block in itself- but is acceptable in what it has to say.
