by Theodore McClintock ‧ RELEASE DATE: Aug. 1, 1938
This is an unusual book, and a book that should have a long life. In the form of a diary, running from April to September, the creation of the ""underwater zoo"" and the subsequent happenings are followed faithfully. Ponds, streams, shallows, in and around Boston, supplied the youngsters with all sorts of water creatures, and through the glass sides of the aquarium, they studied their growth, activities and habits. A how-to-do book and a nature study book as well. Good introduction to subject.
