by Thomas G. Aylesworth ‧ RELEASE DATE: Sept. 15, 1975
If this seems familiar you might be thinking of Aylesworth's Monsters from the Movies (also Lippincott, 1972). What we have here is little more than an easy reading, movie-by-movie rewriting, mostly plot summaries with photos and occasional references to special effects--animation in King Kong, Karloff and Lon Chancy, Jr.'s makeup, Spencer Tracy's ability to play Mr. Hyde without much makeup at all. Second generation booksploitation--a whiz to read even if you wind up thinking that going to movies is a lot more fun.
