THIS PEACE

Little more than a pamphlet in size, but an important book, in that it is a lucid presentation of one of the world's greatest men of letters and his viewpoint on the Munich peace. He discusses the forces at work that brought about ""This Peace"" -- he places the blame where he considers it belongs, on England and the Chamberlain circle, he makes rather sweeping statements as to what were the facts behind Hitler's stand at various strategic moments of recent history, he expresses with complete conviction and sincerity his own belief that the Hitler regime would have collapsed had not England supported it as a bulwark against Communism. Powerful, controversial.
