THE AMAZING ADVENTURES OF ALBERT AND HIS FLYING MACHINE

The sleepy town of Carlyle, Ohio, is definitely not ready for Albert and his Hovercraft. Tired of pumping his heavy old paper bike, Albert persuades his parents to let him spend an unexpected inheritance on a ""zephyrcar,"" a one-person Hovercraft sold through ads in Mechanix Monthly. Though dismayed when it comes unassembled, he sets to with a will--little suspecting the havoc he's about to unleash when the machine comes out of the garage. Hotly pursued by dimwitted police officer John (""Baloney Jack"") Bannigore, Albert careens through the neighborhood, leaving a trail of bent garbage cans, chewed-up yards, and frightened residents convinced that they've seen a UFO. After being repeatedly arrested on trumped-up charges and learning that the city council is considering a ban on Hovercraft, Albert is ready to drag out his old bike. Then the Ohio floods; on TV camera, Albert uses the zephyrcar to rescue several stranded people. Presto! He's a hero. Sant asserts that there's a definite moral here, ""but I left it in the basement."" No loss; it would only hayed weighed down this lighter-than-air farce.
