I TAKE PICTURES FOR ADVENTURE

Photographer of the Everest expedition tells of the way in which he achieved his ambition to make films about wild places and provides a series of interesting incidents. From an unsuccessful attempt to climb Nun Kun, to an international expedition to the Antarctic, to photographing wild life for Armand Denis in Africa and Australia, he improves his camera work, gets in and out of odd places, learns about people, animals and hazards of picture taking, and wills himself to get well when there is a chance for him to go with the Everest party. Not only the close calls of his profession but the pattern of the various expeditions, the test of human relations and the cooperation needed are part of his story and add to its interest. As will the 32 pages of half tones.
