DON'T OPEN THE DOOR

In a small midwestern town, two young matrons are senselessly killed when they open the door. Newly settled there, Eve Quinn seems the likeliest third victim -- she's alone except for Ambrose, a little boy who's one of the nicest nuisances in quite a while. Perfectly calibrated between sympathy and suspense and a categorical imperative for the ladies.
