A MARRIAGE DOCTOR SPEAKS HER MIND ABOUT SEX

A physician specializing in marital and pre-marital counseling, Rebecca Liswood discusses simply and directly what she feels should be basic knowledge about sex. She deals with some misunderstandings about sexual performance; male and female anatomy; conception and contraception; and educating children about sex. She discusses problems she thinks are particular to various stages of marriage --""honeymoon"" phase, the creating of a family and a way of life, and the later years. Very briefly she offers some comments on dating, courtship, the choosing of a marriage partner, marriage's own special and inevitable problems, and some probable causes of infidelity. She ends by including a sample of questions asked her at lectures. Dr. Liswood's approach is straightforward, her attitude good humored. She is Executive Director of the Marriage Counseling Service of Greater New York.
