HIGH TRAIL

The High Sierras are the setting for a glorious holiday interrupted by catastrophe when Chloe's father, Michael Cassidy, falls and breaks his leg. Chole must make her way back to civilization and help. There is a mad, breath-taking contest with time, snow storm, cold; two mountaineers find her almost frozen; together they make their way out. Romance and intensity and a movie finish finale, for a story that could have been kept on a lower key of straight adventure and adolescent romance.
