by W. Maxwell Reed ‧ RELEASE DATE: Oct. 1, 1935
Not as popular in approach as the earlier books, but a good third, for the boy or girl who has the foundation and background of the other two will find this fascinating. The first half goes into the geological history back of the formation of the seas and the evolution of life. The middle section, dealing with sea life, is by Wilfred Bronson. The last part goes into tides, currents, composition chemically, etc.
