by Watson Davis ‧ RELEASE DATE: N/A
This is a collection of 20-odd over-wrought journalistic essays about broad areas of modern scientific accomplishment for a market that is hard to identify. Space is devoted to Changing Atoms; Atomic Revolution; Communication; Molecules; Electronics-machines & Automation; Sex, Genetics, and Life; Flora and Fauna; Human Talent; etc., etc., and even The Enticing Future! There are lots of facts and assertions not very well integrated with plenty of generalization and overdramatization. It is not good writing about science nor real popularization. Overpriced.
