by Wilferd A. Peterson ‧ RELEASE DATE: Nov. 1, 1969
Pick up these little sermonettes at any time and you can put them down, but Mr. Peterson's homilies continue to defy critical sales estimates. (Sales of his first four books total 400,000.) So, willynilly Mr. Peterson strives onward through a junket of sentiment and cream-of-metaphor: ""Women are as heroic as men in battling the mallet blows of life."" ""The Great Biographer is writing a book of your life on the pages of time."" Mr. Peterson should give some careful thought to that Great Grammarian in the Sky who undoubtedly dispenses penances to those who do the Lord's Work with a rusty trowel.
