MY FIRST HORSE

First let me state -- this is not written in the vernacular, usually associated with Will James, so there won't be virtually a language bar to eight and nine year olds. In picture book form, with characteristic Will James pencil sketches in color and in line, Will James tells the story of the toy horses of his small boyhood, of how he learned to draw horses, to rope horses -- and other objects -- and to make corrals, before he had a sure 'nough little horse of his own.
