Michael Saxon, ex-L.A. policeman, now an industrial investigator, looks into the computer company whose codes have been stolen. There's a systems analyst and two young women who are literally passed around and blackmail and drugs before you get to the man at the head of the combine behind the machine. One of those nondescript, hardnosed tracers and you can probably fold, spindle and mutilate it without making much of a dent.
