Kennedy and Lilian Moore wonder, Margaret Fishback reflects, Mary Ann Hoberman regrets their passing, Shel Silverstein waxes silly, and Jack Prelutsky, Valerie Worth, and a good number of others play around enjoyably with the dinosaurs' names, size, teeth, and extinct condition. Cole himself throws in several amusingly rhymed two-liners to keep the pages turning--and they do. The new warm-blooded dinosaur doesn't put in an appearance, but the ever-fascinating old ones are treated with more light-hearted wit than they usually elicit.
