This book is a kind of sequel to two earlier books, Choral Reading for Worship and Inspiration and Choral Readings from the Bible. These latter made a needed contribution to religious education and church worship programs; this one is more particularly intended for use when young people get together for a good time, such as at summer camp. Anyone who can read gets a chance to take his turn, even without having any special talent; those who share in such choral reading do so for their own enjoyment, not to please or impress an audience. The selections included have a wide range, and have to do with the Animal Kingdom, Camping, Stuff and Nonsense, the Other Fellow, as well as Our Thoughtful Moments, where the Bible is included by readings from two of the Paslms. Leaders of children will be delighted with this book.
