THE STORY OF LEIF ERICSON

Despite the number of books dealing with Leif Ericson, the story continues to hold fascination. In this the emphasis is on the earlier years, when Leif as a boy in Iceland has his training for the rugged years as explorer and navigator. The conflict between the old and new religions plays its part. Plenty of action here- and inevitably more fictional quality than in stories I didn't like the crude quality of the drawings
