The head of the National Institute of Straight Thinking presents the fourth of his self help books for those who would ""win friends and influence people"". His blueprint on improving human relations seems a trifle devious to one accustomed to a straight path; maybe he is right in claiming that one should first of all listen and agree and give the other fellow a chance to say his all, before trying to set him right. But in the main his advice on confidence, on the importance of bolstering a sense of belief in self, on avoiding methods of force etc. seem sound.
