A pleasant teen-age pastoral with all the fixin's -- a houseful of problem people, a heavy crush on an undeserving sharple, a different boy friend who finally flys into the net, and of course the senior prom. Debbie Hawthorne, determined to save the old Hawthorne sance from sale and hoping for material for a writing career, suggests taking in paying guests as a solution. Soon a motley group arrives.
