RITUAL FOR MYSELF

Not, as the title might imply, private personal poetry, but rather catholic lyrics on general, popular themes, by a man who has contributed to some extent to popular magazines and newspapers. Everyday themes, in everyday dress,- places, people, seasons, love, remembrance, death. Certain grandiloquence of phraseology lifts these sentimental verses slightly above the average, but lends a dated feel. Sort of masculine Grace Noll Crowell- but not ""quite as quite"".
