LOVABLE STRANGER

An innocent international affair which concerns English- born, German-reared Lisel when, after the war, she is fortunate enough to secure a position as a governess in Sweden. There she is caught between old loyalties and new, as her cousin, Hans, still an unregenerate Nazi, uses her to transmit messages underground, and as she falls in love with English Clive Moray, hot on the heels of Hans. Finally forced to make her choice, she sides with Moray, and Hans, in dying, gives her his clearance...Unsullied, ungrammatical, this is for the unselective.
