Squash tips--what to eat before a match, training exercises, theory, and shot analysis--for improved performance and better understanding of the fastest growing sport in America today. With an introduction from (and scattered advice by) Victor Niederhoffer, this country's answer to the Kahn brothers, and more advice from lesser known squash luminaries. Niederhoffer's advice to women on male-opponent strategy: ""Get in good condition. Try to develop short shots as fast as you can, early in your learning rather than at the end."" But then he adds, ""Beg for mercy."" Good advice throughout, interestingly distilled.
