JOJI AND THE FOG

By now Joji, that wonderful Japanese scarecrow, is a family friend, celebrated for his comic adventures in Joji and the Dragon. In this episode, Joji is confronted with the selfish fog demon who comes to live in the farmer's bathtub, bringing havoc with him. Joji's victory over the old man is as ingenious as it is humorous and Elichi Mitsui's ink drawings are brilliant with that bold, comic vision, characteristic of the Japanese illustration.
