SILVER SPURS

Randy wins his silver spurs in this warmed over ranch yarn. Twelve-year-old Randy, determined to be a real cowboy on his Uncle Bart's ranch in New Mexico pulls a few boners, but aids in the end in the capture of some rustlers and their informer. Not enough incisive characterization for a tale with a hero of this age, and the action is rudimentary -- for a younger age group.
