THE GUN

Here is a book for your collectors of Napoleona. Actually a new facet of the Napoleonic Wars, Spain and the guerilla bands, and a slight plot woven around the possession of an eighteen pounder which had been lost over a mountainside, rehabilitated by a priest and some villagers and seized by a band of guerillas. Three men successively hold the bands of guerillas together, thanks to their possession of the gun. A unique story, which must have a factual background. Women will be bored by it. Sell to men interested in strategy, in historical tales and particularly to those interested in the Napoleonic period.
