For children of the elementary school level, this is a very good collection of things to do with ""clean"" materials such as paper, pencils, scissors, pins, rubber bands etc. The articles described are for the most part functional and sufficiently intricate to hold the reader's interest in the process as well as the end result. The directions for the play ideas, gifts, and articles ""just for fun"" are simple and explicit, and the diagrams and sketches in two colors aid in clarification. Invaluable for sick-a-beds.
