PARADE OF THE EMPTY BOOTS

Good entertainment in a different sort of adventure story. A marshall from a western community trails his victim east, recovers the gold and goes to a Mississippi town to deliver the stolen money, where he falls in love with the rightful owner. It takes a good deal of exciting work in cleaning up some local raiders before she overcomes her prejudices and sees him as he is. Period -- right after the Civil War.
