RED BLIZZARD

A maverick among westerns, this tale of a half-breed's wrongs is scarcely savory but is nonetheless compelling. Army Scout, Pawnee Perez, desperately determined to make a place for himself as a white man, helps a colonel save his outpost fort against a great Indian attack. When he falls in love with the colonel's nymphomaniac daughter he is rejected and in the end receives a disgusting reward for his heroism. Not for the Hopalong type of reader.
