IERI: Yesterday

A photograph on the wall of a brother and sister serves as the springboard for these autobiographical reminiscences dealing with the childhood of Tita and Tito. The author follows in detail the everyday life of these two Italian middle class children, their schooling, the death of their mother, up to their maturity. It is a rather depressing though slight little book, without great vitality or significance, but delicately written.
