KIRKUS REVIEW

Psychic prattle and scuttlebutt that skitters along from the heretofore with weird tales from the lives of William Shakespeare, Sam Clemens, J.B. Priestley, Abraham Lincoln (the chestnut about his prescient dream of assassination) and of course the Kennedys (Rose's bad karma is to blame), several steps beyond to Logan's terrible warnings about Bishop Pike, a friend's ""unconscious ESP"" about Patty Hearst's SLA involvement, and a message concerning the state of Jane Fonda's soul from the spirit entity named Dr. Stanley Padulsky that works through the author's body. Dr. Stanley also reports that Blatty was possessed while writing The Exorcist; that he and Jane Roberts' contact Seth are working together to communicate with ""the scientists"" even though our society has become ""jaded and sated with an overabundancy of scientific data and intellectualism""; that ""the false prophets are upon you!"" Indeed.
