TUNNEL FROM CALAIS

First rate adventure thriller, with a timely theme -- the plausible theory that a tunnel is being constructed under the channel for invasion of Britain. An imaginative and eager young engineer is determined to prove the fact of his theory, and he gets deeply involved in Channel village affairs in the process, and eventually, with the help of a local poacher, solves the mystery. Good picture of civilian defense problems, spy scares, etc. in England today. And well done.
