THE CAT WEARS A MASK

Miss Rachel Murdock again, directing her attention to the supernatural when her godchild Gail, and some of Gail's friends, are plagued by poison pen notes signed Kachina (a Hopi Indian spirit). Amid rains, floods, snakes, and ghostly goings on, Miss Rachel goes after the unknown Kachina and the murderer of two of the group. An unusual setting for Miss Rachel, but the usual whimsey for the usual feminine audience.
