KIRKUS REVIEW

Lingerie, jeans, furs, drapery are transformed through minor adjustments or major remodeling. Diana Funaro's introductory remark that this book is ""for those who have some experience with sewing"" is not to be lightly dismissed. And while the cleaning and freshening guides are applicable to some of the items currently hanging in the closet, the very detailed suggestions for remodeling old clothes provide a veritable feast for the virtuoso sewer with an eye for secondhand bargains.
