SO MANY HOURS

Diana Patrick is an old hand at the more solid, problem tale of two generations -- and she does it well. Radcliffe has worked his way up the ladder to the top, from woolen mills to wealth; his children fail him and he sets about creating circumstances that will make them pull themselves together. The setting is Yorkshire -- and the Cotswolds. A competent book -- light fiction with slightly moral twist.
