DRIFTER'S GOLD

The West stands staunchly by its own Don Blanding, and he has made his own little niche in the hearts of many. Jocose jingles and garish exoticism of Hawaii, the West, California -- I confess to an antipathy for them. His humor seems to me cheap, his emotions commonplace, his overtones noisy.
