by Donald E. Westlake ‧ RELEASE DATE: March 7, 1975
Westlake now seems to be borrowing from Thorne Smith for his heistless gimmicks. This time the central yok lies in the lays of Art Dodge, who beds and then marries, one at a time, a pair of identical twins both named Elisabeth. Art has invented along the way, his mirror sibling, Bart, who is supposedly murdered along with one of the Elisabeths on Fire Island, leaving Elisabeth II, who knows all -- until she's done in handily by Art. The big scene -- a night of Art/Bart servicing both wives. Double bubble.
