by Dorothy Bayers ‧ RELEASE DATE: Feb. 15, 1940
Two of these short stories feature Lord Peter Wimsey; some of them have Montague Egg, the crimehunting wine salesman, as hero; others make crime itself the theme. There are horror tales, there are some based on humorous misunderstandings, and there are nice twists and turns to all of them. Craftsmanship at its best throughout, as one can expect from this best of names in the mystery field.
