THE CAT AND MRS. CARY

Into the quiet widow's world of Mrs. Cary comes The Cat (he talks of course, but only to her) and her 11 year old nephew, Brad. All three quickly become involved in a fast moving mystery that boasts an F.B.I. man, smuggled parakeets, hidden treasure, a boat with guns in a secluded cove, a Doberman named Doc, a girl named Cricket, and a ghost in a secret attic. The Cat lends a sophisticated had to the fun by assisting in the discovery of the smugglers and the hidden treasure. Brad gets The Cat. Mrs. Cary gets a new lease on life, the money, and three kittens. A thoroughly delightful tale for all 9 through 12 year olds.
