KIRKUS REVIEW

Improvement incentive based on the notion that personality qualities are twice as important as technical skills, and that you or anybody can get ahead (in your job largely) by using what you have, knowing what you want, overriding your handicaps, securing dependable cooperation, cultivating enthusiasm, increasing your popularity and persuasiveness, mastering feelings of inferiority, regrets, self pity, etc. -- all of which will see you successful. Psychological piffle, not much more advanced than Dale Carnegie, but there is probably still a market for this type of kindergarten counsel.
