A book of limited appeal, though some of the more medically inclined of the Haggard audience (Devils, Drugs and Doctors) will like it. Brief and somewhat sketchy biographies of medical research men from the 16th century up to the present, with Dr. Harvey Cushing to the fore. Most of the figures are unfamiliar to the layman. Fairly interesting -- though a bit pedestrian.
