A WELL-BORN CORPSE

Thinnish find-the-killer tale minus sleuth or police. Mystery is unravelled by a dominant diabetic old lady intent on concealing the family scandals. Her grandson's death turns out to be murder; suspects are numerous enough and motives more than adequate. A near flurry with death on the old lady's part hardens her determination for privacy, and she lets the killer go free. So-so.
