by Elizabeth Cadell ‧ RELEASE DATE: Oct. 10, 1968
This is one of Elizabeth Cadell's lenitive entertainments which invite little scrutiny and permit no commentary at all except to say that there is no mystery this time, just romance along with some pleasant Portuguese house and garden accessories. The story, such as it is, deals with Henry Eliot's visit there as representative for Stonor Development and as fiance of Morly Stonor, an overwhelmingly endowed only daughter. The Stonors are anxious to promote rather than develop and secure the property of one Senhora Silva. She finally gives it to her niece Teresa who by this time has become the object of Henry's affections replacing the objective of his stay there.... An ageless audience will find it a proper treat.
