TOPPER AND THE GIANTS

Topper and his dachshund live in a small Alpine village. One day they make the acquaintance of a friendly giant, and discover that there are definite disadvantages in being doing large. An avalanche traps the giant in his cave, and it is only through the efforts of the nimble little boy and his pet that the old fellow is rescued. The author's black and white drawings are decorative and participate in the warm humored quality of the text.
