Report repeated from page 617 of the October 1st bulletin, as follows: ""A Boston cream pie with romantic Irish and blueblood ingredients, this is a genial treat for fireside and wing chair. George Tilley, late of County Clare, dedicated himself to the grey of the Boston postmen in his early youth and was in turn affectionately dedicated in service to the gentle Inbreda of Louisburg Square. It is there that the sweet elegance of Cornelia Endicott and the gay Irish temperament find compatibility and wander the streets of Boston, secretly, deeply in love. Heavy father interference creates a 'misunderstanding'; Cornelia is sent on the Grand Tour and eventually marries. But when a repetition of the theme occurs with Cornella's daughter and an East Boston Italian, Tilley sees that blue blood and red are mingled, and the tragic secret that caused the lost years comes to light, bringing George and Cornella together again. A sentimental, nostalgic story, with enough loving regional detail to make any Bostonian dissolve in homesickness, while the general reader (i.e. South of Dorchester) will revel in the gentle eccentrics of the Square. Time- from late 19th century to the interim between wars. An Indian Summer idyll, light weight, perhaps, but full of atmospheric charm.
