FAIR IS MY LOVE

The obstacle course of young married love as Eve, beautiful, serene, efficient turns out to be a paragon of wives and thereby almost wrecks her marriage. For Jake has maintained that he is an ordinary sort of fellow and the first ecstatic bloom brushes off when friends do not take kindly to Eve's Little-Miss-Fix-It role, and trouble really starts when Eve is too forgiving, cool and collected about Jake's excursion into extra-marital excitement. Her attempt to give him a chance to forgive her ends in a real quarrel and settles their problems tidily. Other marital problems, a drinking husband, a quarrelsome, childless couple, and some understanding older people fill in the edges of a wholesome dish of home truths, Canadian style.
