KIRKUS REVIEW

Here's the answer for every air-minded boy, -- the authorized biography of our famous inventors, that is a sympathetic, well-rounded picture of the men themselves, and the early days of aviation. Their childhood of all-boy curiosity, ingenuity, and interest in mechanical their early devotion to the idea of a flying machine and the years of experiment, failures and eventual success, not recognized in their own country or even by their own neighbors, makes excellent reading. None of the technicalities will bother the young aviation experts of today and they will find this story of the ""Flyers or Liars"" inspirational as well as instructive.
